About me:
- Teaching piano since 1996.
- Master of Music in Piano Performance from the University of Minnesota (2001).
- Nationally Certified Teacher of Music (NCTM) by the Music Teachers National Association (2012).
- Actively involved as a judge for contests, piano exams, music theory exams and the Music Bridges program.
- Affiliations include Music Teachers National Association (MTNA) and Minnesota Music Teachers Association (MMTA).
My goal for each student:
- Explore theory, musicianship, artistry, composition and arranging through a classical training focus.
- Provide a well-rounded curriculum which emphasizes sight-reading skills, ear-training activities, and explore a wide range of musical styles.
- Have the knowledge and confidence to expand their repertoire on their own.
